Hypnotism is a safe and effective intervention
for a variety of motivational, self improvement and goal
setting situations. It is natural and free of side effects. When performed by a certified, competent practitioner
results are often long lasting and permanent.
The National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) has ethical guidelines
which all members must adhere to. The NGH holds to the ideal
that hypnotism should be practiced in a free and open manner
in line with all national and state requirements. NGH Hypnotists
are not practicing medical or mental health arts (unless
additional credentials are held by the member). NGH certified
hypnotists do not diagnose disease, but can be helpful as
an adjunct to conventional medical or mental health interventions.
